I got accepted into nursing school!! I was so excited I started crying. I am SOOOO ready for this. I was told emails of acceptance would start going out the first week of May. I've been checking my COTC inbox everyday hoping that they would send emails out early, and they did:) I'm seriously going to print the email off and hang it up. I can't stop smiling b/c I am so excited. Many of you know I've been to nursing school already, I just didn't finish. I've been wanting to go back for 8 years now, but God had some other things in mind before it was time.
I'm going to Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) in Newark. It's a seven quarter associates degree program. Basically, two years from now I will have graduated and will be sitting for the boards to get my RN. I went to the nursing info meeting last August and since then things have taken off like a rocket. God is opening up every door to nursing school. And as it looks right now, I'll have the whole thing paid for with a scholarship. And did I mention we have childcare taken care of for both girls?! It's not free, but we are blessed to only have to pay a fraction of it. God is unfolding His plan for me right before my eyes!!
And now onto some celebratory pie! I went to Just Pies on the way home from picking Ruthie up at daycare and bought my favorite Banana Cream pie. Mmmmm...delicious:)
I know I already commented but I think it deserves another big CONGRATS FRIEND!! Oh and that pie looks so yummy....I'm jealous :)
