The Radtke's: Up And Running!!

It's about time, right?! We had the cable company come out and fix the internet on Sunday. Now I can kind of play catch up with what we've been up to in the past week.

Here are a couple of pictures of our new fish!!! Brendan took these pictures with his phone.

We bought 3 (we are now down to 2) and they do not have names yet.

Last weekend we took the girls to see Cars 2. I missed the last half because Reagan was becoming very antsy and disturbing the people in front of us. Out into the hallway we went!

We have had some really nice summer nights here recently. One night this week Brendan took the garage apart trying to find his fishing pole.

He didn't find his fishing pole, but we did find the battery to Ruthie's Diego jeep.

She had soooo much fun riding it up and down the driveway.

At the end of last week the girls and I attended a Classical Conversations practicum. We are thinking about homeschooling the girls (either right off the bat or eventually). While the parents were learning about the curriculum the girls were in camps. Ruthie wore herself out so much the first day that she came into the sanctuary with me and took a nap while I listened to a teaching.

I had to work this past weekend so Brendan kept the girls entertained with a new Slip 'N Slide. Apparently Ruthie went up and down the slide over and over while Reagan drank water from the holes.

Brendan took Ruthie fishing later that day...

and she caught about 10 fish!! She had so much fun. They are actually fishing again right now.

Reagan took a late nap that day so she stayed up late with daddy while I went to bed after work. I'm still trying to get used to working 13 hour days. That baby Reagan is holding is her new favorite accessory. She takes it everywhere and sleeps with it. It's not uncommon to find her feeding her baby a bottle when she goes to bed and sometimes at 3 in the morning she will wake up to feed her baby and rock her. It's amazing how little girls act like such mommies from a young age.

Yesterday Reagan was running around the basement with Brendan's beer cozies yelling, "Superman!!!"

I've got some recent pictures of George here. As you can see his hair is growing back quite quickly. This time around we are going to try and trim him ourselves.
