I think that was the longest hiatus I have taken since I started this blog! Remind me next time I have a midterm to not save ALL the reading until the week before the test:) That meant everything else had to be put on hold. I've spent the past three days doing laundry, dishes, organizing, paperwork stuff that needs attention now, phonecalls, interviews, Ruthie's dance recital!! Today I'm off to run some errands to check some more things off my list.
We've also had one big change in the Radtke household...we took the pacis away from Reagan. Things have been a nightmare with those things. I was waking up all hours of the night putting the paci back in her mouth. Reagan is not a great sleeper anyway so we decided what would the big deal be to just take it away. Nothing. Just a little fussing and then off to sleep. She still only takes 30 minute cat naps during the day, but at night I can get a good 3-5 hour stretch out of her now. I'm feeling much more rested but now I have a bazillion pacis. Is anyone looking for brand new Nuk, Avent or MAM pacis??
We have also found a new pediatrician!! I hate to say that I'm still sceptical, but I am. I'm not convinced that some doctors have my best interest or my girls' best interest in mind sometimes. So far this woman seems like a good fit and we agreed on all three of my major issues...vaccines, peanut allergies and reflux. She was also one of the few offices that still does patient interviews, and she didn't charge me for the interview either!!!! I was very impressed by that. I don't understand how some of these doctors offices expect you to just go to them without interviewing them first.
I've got two posts in the wings. One is really funny...or at least I get a good laugh every time I look at the pics! So check back often. I think I'm back on top of things, or at least for the moment;)
