Ruthie's Dance Recital

Ruthie had her first dance recital this past Sunday.  It was one song, maybe three minutes total, but oh so precious!!  This is Reagan as she was watching the dancers.  She couldn't take her eyes off of them.

Here is Ruthie when she first stepped onto the stage.  I started getting tears in my eyes b/c I couldn't believe she was up there.  I still have a hard time with fully realizing I'm someone's MOM!

At the end of the performance she gave the biggest cheese smile ever.  She was so proud of herself!

This is my MIL, Sue.  She is the one who took Ruthie to almost all of her dance practices.  Attending Leap of Faith was Ruthie's 3rd birthday gift from Nana and Papa.

I get a good laugh out of this pic b/c Reagan sees Papa everyday and yet she somehow lost it when we asked him to hold her while we took some pics.  Papa was having a good laugh about it along with the rest of us.  This is also Reagan's classic, "I'm so mad!" cry.  She has to fling her arms out to the side, squeeze her eyes shut and just wail...I think it's absolutely adorable!  Makes me just want to kiss those chubby cheeks:)

What a great day!  Ruthie is looking forward to starting back up in the fall:)
