Let me start off by saying I have changed the background on my page, but I'm not really crazy about it. Right now I've got a 17 month old climbing on my lap so I don't really have time to search for another background. This will have to do for the moment.
Last night the girls and I along with my mom, niece, brother and his girlfriend went to Groovin' on the Green in Fairfield. The Menus were playing. They play great music, their lead singer is just a little.....different.
This was his first outfit.
Song number 2 he changed into this.
I did not take pictures of all his other outfits b/c I was slightly disturbed by his behavior. The music was great though and they are very popular around here!
Reagan started the concert off chillin' in her stroller. She was not ready to brave the grass just yet.
Clapping for The Menus.
Haley and Ruthie were enjoying some Flub's icecream during the show.
After Reagan ventured out of her stroller, she then spent the next 20 minutes playing with her stroller buckles. Who knew that could be so much fun. Ruthie used to do the same thing though. Why do I buy toys then?
When Reagan got bored with that, she realized it could be a lot of fun playing and dancing on the steps.
Now she's getting into the music with some head banging.
Then she got brave and stood up to do some head banging.
Dancin', dancin', DANCIN'!!!
Then she got even more brave and started venturing away from us. "Reagan, coooome baaaaack!", came out of my mouth more times than I can count.
You heard me you stinker! Can you see that mischievous smile on her face?!
Big Sissy to the rescue! Reagan was not happy about it. She was giving Ruthie a peace of her mind and letting her know not to touch her by a quick swing of her arm. If I haven't mentioned this before, Reagan cracks me up!
Miss Ruthie wasn't too happy with me. I was being a strict mommy not letting her run up and down the stage stairs acting like a wild woman. She's giving me "the look".
I was able to get a few cute pics of her sitting on the stairs though! I feel like Ruthie looks so much older than 4 years old in this picture.
There's her smile!
Reagan had a meltdown so we left early while Ru stayed with my mom. Later that night, my mom sent me a text saying Ruthie was dancing on stage. I SO wish I had been there with my camera.
Next up, we've got friends coming for pizza and swimming tonight. Wooohooo!!
Sounds like fun! I wanna come for pizza and swimming.... See you cute little Radtkes next week though! Love ya, Melissa
