I promise all of my blog posts will not be about George from now on.
It's just that he's so darn cute and we've been having so much fun with him that I have to share some of the pictures.
I love this picture of Reagan "posing" next to George. We were trying to get a decent pic of the 2 of them together. Don't mind Reagan's mop of hair. That girl runs screaming from me when I come near her with the brush saying, "OWWWW, OWWWW!!!" I haven't even touched her head yet and she's saying it hurts.
Anyway, each day she is getting more and more gentle with George. She did squeeze him too tight the other day and he meowed something fierce. Reagan let go and I said, "Reagan!" in my you-better-be-nice-to-the-kitty voice. She ran to the couch and buried her head and started to cry. I'm not sure if it's b/c I scolded her or b/c she knew she hurt the cat.
She hasn't mastered the name George yet. It's a little tough for a 20 month old, but she usually says, "Hi Jo."
I'm thankful George hasn't been too overwhelmed by all the attention he's been receiving. For the first time today he ran and hid from the girls under the treadmill. I don't want him to be a cat that runs and hides, but I know we all need our downtime. We are working on reminding the girls that he needs to take naps and rest like a baby does so we don't need to pet him,
carry him,
chase him,
stuff him in the trunk of the toy car,
brush him,
kiss him,
feed him
ALL THE TIME!!!
Love you George. :)
