Delaware County Fair

This past Saturday we all hopped in the mini and headed to the Delaware County Fair. This is our third year in a row.  Here's a picture of the girls from last year.  So cute!!

The fair was kind of like a last hoorah before school started.  I am now officially back in the swing of things. (And yes I am supposed to be reading right now but I'm still in denial that school has started again.)  Only 2 more quarters to go!!  I can do it...I can do it...I can do it...

Back to the fair.  We kind of have to jump in with the pictures b/c I didn't take very many this time.  We ran into some friends from the Vineyard heading into the fair.  This is Ruthie with their son Luka.

The Little Wheel is Ruthie's favorite ride.

Next year Reagan will be big enough for the ride, but for now all she could do was point to sissy on the wheel.

She was getting a little distressed b/c she didn't know what sissy was doing and she really wanted out of the stroller.

I thought this would be a perfect time to get a picture of Reagan and Brendan together.

No matter how many times I called to Reagan for her to look at the camera, she would not look at me.

That is until daddy walked to the other side and she flashed me the sweetest smile.  STINKER!!!

And then back to the, "I will NOT look at the camera no matter how many times you ask me!!"

We only let Ruthie ride 2 rides this year.  It is SOOOO expensive!!!  The memories are fun, but breaking the bank is not worth it.

Daddy and Reagan waving hi to sissy on the the dino.  If you look closely you can see that Reagan fit in perfectly at the fair.  It looks like she has a mullet.  Lord help me that girl has got a wild head of hair!

After the rides we were off to see the animals.  As you can see Reagan is super excited about it.

First we made a detour for some free popcorn and then we saw the cows.

Then we headed to the horses, rabbits, and then the turkeys.  Ruthie had fun saying, "Gobble, gobble!!"

This by far is my favorite picture from the fair.  Here's why:  The Sit and Stand stroller is designed so that the older child has the freedom to get up or down without the cumbersome tray in front of their seat.  Well Reagan loves pretending she's a big girl and halfway through the fair she claimed Ruthie's seat.  Ruthie didn't mind b/c she is going through a phase right now where she loves pretending she's a baby.  She wanted to sit in Reagan's seat.

This picture just captures perfectly where they are at right now.  It just warms my heart to know that these 2 girls are my daughters.  Oh how much I love them!!!
