Summer Fun

Last week the girls and I went home to visit my parents.  Monday night we met up with a friend of mine from high school at a park in town.

At around 7:30 the sprinklers turned on.

We let the girls run through with their clothes on.

They were soaked from head-to-toe with no extra change of clothes, but they had fun!!

The girls will get to make more memories soon when we go camping together over Labor Day weekend.  That should be an interesting trip because the Radtke clan has never been camping before!!

We ran errands the next day with Grandma and went out to eat with my brother's girlfriend.  Reagan doesn't go anywhere without a baby!!

Ruthie enjoyed sitting in the way back of Grandma's car with her cousin Haley.

Haley has been a great help this summer because she can carry Reagan around in the shallow end...

while Ruthie hangs onto the edge and walks the perimeter of the pool.  Ruthie is petrified of swimming.  Even with floaties on she still hangs onto the edge of the pool.  Not quite sure how we are going to get her to be a confident swimmer.  Anytime I mention swimming lessons she freaks out.  Reagan on the other hand has no fear of the water.

Aren't these flowers beautiful?  Brendan and the girls bought them for me just to say, "We love you!"  I took them with me to my parent's house so I could enjoy them before they died.

Tonight is my first night at the hospital.  I have a friend coming over so I can take a nap and hopefully make it through the wee hours of the morning.  On the agenda for today, run to the store and get some caffeine.  I have no idea what my body is going to do with being awake for the next 3 nights.  Everyone tells me I'll adjust.  I'll be back this weekend.  Have a great week!!
