I took the girls to the park this morning. As soon as we walked out the door and were hit by the heat and humidity I thought, "Why did I tell the girls I'd take them to the park?!"
I am a baby. A big weeny. I hate hot, sticky, humid weather. I hate sweating for no reason. I would much rather stay indoors enjoying the sunshine by staring at it through the window. Maybe that's why I'm severely Vitamin D deficient? That's another story though...
I took my camera along and dressed the girls in matching outfits in hopes of getting a cute picture of the 2 of them together. We tried sitting on a rock but Reagan didn't like it.
I tried to get them to stand next to each other, but Reagan wanted to be front and center.
Reagan was just not having it, so I started taking pictures of Ruthie all by herself.

I can't figure out what to do with her hair anymore. There is just so much of it and if it's down at all, it just hangs in her eyes. Like this...
At this point I'm trying to grow it out in hopes that I can pull it all back into one ponytail eventually. The top of her hair grows faster than the bottom though so this could take awhile.
Back to sweating. We tried to stay in the shade as much as we could.
I wasn't even running around like the girls were and I was just sweating standing there.

Have I mentioned that I was sweating?! I was miserable but the girls were having fun and that's what it's all about. We met up with my friend Candi and she had the 2 girls she nanny's for with her. Their favorite spot was the sandbox.
Well, the girls are down for their naps so I'm off to get a shower. My sweat has formed a nice sticky paste on my skin and I don't quite think I smell like roses right now! Have a great weekend!
