I mentioned in my last post that for Father's Day we went to Petland. It was Sunday and this place was bumpin'. You can pick up and pet bunnies, guinea pigs, cats, birds, ferrets...I can't remember everything. I couldn't believe it!!
We got a siamese cat out of his little plastic cage for some lovin'!!!
The girls love George {he has been amazing since we got back from Hilton Head!!!}, but I think they would have taken home this little siamese if we had said yes.
There was also a tortoise that was free to walk around the store as he pleased. Ruthie had so much fun chasing him and touching his shell.
Why were we at Petland????? We had to return the 4 fish we bought a couple of years ago. They were becoming too big for the fish tank and were producing so much waste that Brendan was having to clean the tank almost every other week!!
Ruthie knew we were giving the fish away and she was not sad until she saw her fish Hanatanna in the fish store tank. Bless her heart she started crying. We comforted her and told her we were buying some new fish that don't produce as much waste.
Drumroll please.......we bought some tiger puffer fish!!!!
Think Nemo! We bought 4 of the fish that blow up. They are so cute and I don't have pictures yet, but it has been a lot of fun to watch them swim around.
I had to include this last picture. I worked Monday and when I work I don't get to see the girls AT ALL. Brendan took a pic of Reagan before bed in her nightgown, hat, and lunchbox.
What is with this new smile/smirk of hers??!!!
