It's taken me a bit to get back onto the computer b/c I've been studying for my nursing final. I am now free from school for the next 4 weeks!!!
She gave us some numbing drops for her ears and also some cream for her bum. Besides a double ear infection, Reagan has severe diaper rash.
I mean severe diaper rash.
Just looking at it makes me cringe. The pain my poor girl must be in is sometimes too hard to bare. She has been whining and not sleeping well. Totally expected. In fact last night she slept in the carseat from 12:45 am to 8:15am. She did let out cries of pain here and there but was able to sleep the rest of the night for the most part. Her ears and bum must be hurting her so bad:(
The old ENT we went to doesn't take Medicaid so we have to go to somebody new. The first appointment we could get is December 29th. That seems like forever away and I'm just praying that Reagan's ear infection clears up with the antibiotics and that somebody cancels their appointment between now and the end of December. Otherwise Reagan won't be getting tubes till the first part of January and then I'll be back in school and possibly won't even be able to be there for the surgery. Ugghhh...I'm not even going to think about all this stuff. It's not up to me anyway. The Lord has a plan for Reagan and her precious ears.
I'm headed to Fairfield tomorrow with the girls to spend some time with family and friends. I get to snuggle with little baby E again and then later I'll visit a friend I haven't seen in about 3 years. We went to high school together and we both have yet to meet each other's kids. Oh, and the girls are having professional Christmas pics taken on Thursday. I'm hoping things go better then our home Christmas photo shoot! :)
