This is Hannatana.
This is her home.
Ruthie {she was 2 years old at the time} wanted to name the fish Hannah Montana but it always came out as Hannatana. The name just stuck. She is Ruthie's one and only fish.
About 2 years ago we had 5 fish. Hannatana is the only one still around. Yesterday, Brendan and Ruthie went to the pet store to get Reagan a (as in 1) fish for Valentine's Day.
They came home with 3!
While no official names have been given to the fishes yet, I call this one Black Eyes.
This guy is Tiger for now.
Meet Bubble Cheeks.
I think they all are a great addition to our fish family. Hannatana's a little freaked out. She keeps hanging out in the corner while the new guys explore the tank.
Now, lets just hope we didn't waste our money and these new fish live longer than a few weeks, unlike their predecessors.
*For the record, we have no idea if the fishes are male or female. We just assign them a gender by name*
