I don't know about you but we have A LOT of snow around here and it's still coming down!
This picture was taken Saturday night. We tried to get outside before the sun went down but didn't make it. It's still fun to play in the snow in the dark though!
Sunday, we made it outside while it was still sunny out. Reagan LOVED the snow! This is her first time getting to actually play in it.
Ruthie enjoyed playing in (& eating) the snow! Today she made some sort of maple syrup snow creation with Nana. I passed on being a taste tester, but Ruthie gobbled it up.
Daddy offered to take the girls for a ride on the sled.
I was the official photographer and Brendan was the official sled puller. I got the easy end of that deal. In some spots the snow was a foot deep!
Ruthie was done after just one ride around the yard.
Reagan wanted to keep going so we put her in the "baby" sled.
She could barely open her eyes b/c it was so bright outside, but you could tell she was having fun.
I just want to kiss and squeeze those cheeks! Reagan did not want to go inside even though her nose was turning red. You could tell she was cold but she was having too much fun.
Tonight, Brendan and Ruthie made Ruthie's 1st snowman. She was very proud! We still need to add the scarf, carrot nose, coal eyes, etc.
My school got cancelled for tomorrow and we are thinking that the girls will probably not have daycare either. I'm not a big fan of the freezing cold weather but I do love staying warm inside, making hot chocolate and snuggling with my girls!!
