That was me yesterday trying to do my run/walk regimen while pushing the girls in the double jogging stroller AGAINST the wind!!
I tried to find some funny pictures on the internet that could adequately show how hilariously pitiful I looked, but all I could find were pristine photos of moms jogging with their kids.
I think this is how easy I thought it would be, but boy was I wrong. Between both girls I'm pushing 60 pounds in the stroller. Not to mention the fact that I'm carrying around extra weight and there was a storm coming so the wind was extra windy.
I was trying to be...
by getting the girls out for some fresh air, showing them that exercise is important, and I had plans to hit up the playground when we were done.
Sometimes the best laid plans don't go as planned, but the girls had fun going for a ride. In fact, as I started to run they yelled, "Weeeeeee!!!!" I laughed thinking, "At least you're having fun. I'm about to die!"
It has been nice to spend time outside now that the weather is getting warmer. It's been warm enough to get the sandbox out!
Reagan was not crazy about the sand. She did not like the feeling of it at all. She kept saying, "Yuck!"
Playing with the sand toys outside of the sandbox was just perfectly fine for her.
Ruthie on the other hand had no problem playing in the sand, rolling in the sand, flicking the sand, laying in the sand. She had a blast!!
Once we get out the pool from last year, we can start pretending we're at the beach in the middle of Ohio!
