it's been a good weekend when your playroom ends up looking like this:
Now wait. Before you judge my parenting skills and criticize me for not having my girls pick up as they go along, I'm not that kind of momma anymore. Do you know how exhausting it is to follow your kids around making sure they clean up everything as they play?! No thanks!! I have found it is more productive to do clean ups in one big sweep.
So what did we do this weekend...
Reagan had fun feeding her babies while wearing her shades.
Ruthie spent most of the weekend dressed in her "wedding" dress.
I went to the grocery store and spent $50 on staples. I don't know if anybody else has noticed the increase in prices at the grocery store, but I'm beginning to loathe shopping trips. Everything is getting so expensive!!
I love this picture of Reagan. She usually only sleeps with one purple blankie, but she snuck the other one out of the diaper bag. She was super happy about it! :)
Ruthie took a trip with daddy to Home Depot. Brendan has been doing a lot of work getting the garden ready. I'm looking forward to watching the girls run to the strawberry patch and pick fresh strawberries. Yum!!
In other exciting news~I became an aunt again today!!! My brother's girlfriend had her baby. She doesn't have a name yet and I don't have any pictures. We will all get to meet her this weekend. I really wanted to be in Cincinnati for the birth, but with gas prices so high and my nursing test coming up, we thought it was best to just wait until this weekend. I can't wait to snuggle with a newborn!!!
