Boooring

That's what I feel like life has been these past few weeks.  Well, maybe saying life is a little harsh and totally not the case but life, as in "school-life", is boooring.

For the past 2 weeks it seems all I have been doing is studying for quizzes, exams, and now a final.  The hours I have logged sitting in a chair with my head bent down, looking at my notes is painful.  And did I mention boooring?

I've missed out on things like this:

and this.

Remember these jammies.  I bought them when Reagan was just a few months old.

Well now that Reagan's big enough and the weather is getting warmer, it was time to break out the spring jammies!  B snapped these pics the other night when I was {sigh} studying and he was putting the girls to bed.

He wanted to try and get a cute pic of the girls together, sans paci and blankie, and well, Reagan just wasn't having it.

Reagan got her paci back and gave B a scowl.  "Don't think of trying that again daddy!"

All the while Ruthie just smiled.

I have a serious case of spring fever.  I've already got the girl's spring/summer clothes washed and ready to be worn at the slightest increase in temperature.  I long for the days when t-shirts, shorts, and flip flops are worn.  Instead of days where sweaters, pants, boots, gloves, hats, and winter coats are needed just to walk to the car.

I think I'm really looking forward to this spring/summer because Ruthie & Reagan are at great ages.  Ruthie will be able to have a little more freedom and independence this year.  She's really looking forward to helping B with the garden this year.

With Reagan, life is still so new and fun.  Now that she is walking, I don't have to worry about her crawling on the driveway.  Yuck!  We have a lot to accomplish this summer.  Things like catch lightening bugs, going for walks in the woods, Reagan eating her first ice cream cone, playing in the sprinkler, coloring with sidewalk chalk, etc.

For now though, I'm stuck in a room studying for my final.  Boooring!!
