It's Official

I think 2010 is officially "The Year of Babies".

So far, I have 12 friends having babies this year.  Some are just starting their families, others are on their second and third babies.  I simply love it!!  I'm definitely going to get my baby fix this year.  :)

Now, from babies to farm animals.  This past weekend we went to Brendan's boss' house.  He has a donkey, goats and chickens.  We thought Ruthie would get a kick out of seeing these animals close up.

Ruthie wasn't afraid of the donkey, but the goats and chickens were another story.

Reagan, cracked me up meeting the donkey.  I think if she could talk she would say, "Whoa buddy.  Back it up.  Who and what are you?!"  She had no interest in the animals.  She kept leaning back not wanting to get close.

Isn't he cute!  I think his name was Frank or something like that.

After meeting the donkey, we went to see the goats.  Ruthie immediately pinned herself against the wall.  She didn't know what to think of all the goats coming to greet her.

Dan was able to catch one so Ruthie could pet it.  She gave him one quick pet,

and then ran back to the wall.  Soon we left the small barn with Ruthie in tears.  She was overwhelmed by all the goats and thought one of them tried to bite her.  {Really, the goat was just sniffing her!}

Reagan was having fun watching the goats from on top of Brendan's shoulders.

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of Ruthie hanging out on top of the chicken coup, but she was not a fan of the chickens either.

I don't think living on a farm is in our near future!
