Our reunion was a joyous occasion. Ruthie came running to me yelling, "MOMMY!!!"
Reagan was sitting in her highchair so she couldn't run to me, but as soon as she heard my voice her arms started waving and her feet started kicking. Then she started saying, "Dada, dada, dada!" Hmmmm, I thought she knew my name was mama?! {Haha} Brendan reassured me that the entire time I was gone she was walking around looking for me and saying, "Mama, mama, mama."
I was able to spend all day yesterday with my girls and of course used that opportunity to snap some pictures. I couldn't resist dressing Reagan in a spring outfit. I am so OVER winter!
It's almost time for spring and Easter!
Reagan wanted to read a book while we waited for big sissy to get dressed.
I missed this sweet smile.
Reagan learned a new trick during her weekend at Memaw and Bop Bop's. Now when I go to take a picture of her she gives me the cheesiest smile and says, "Cheee, cheeee!" She can't quite get the "cheese" out but it's so darn cute.
Can't you just see her saying, "Cheeee!"
I love this picture b/c Ruthie wanted so bad to take over and read the book to Reagan, but she was being a great big sister and letting Reagan have a turn first.
Now, it's Ruthie's turn.
I think I can see Ruthie as a teacher someday. :)
Reagan has had a bit of an adjustment coming back home. She doesn't seem to want to sleep. My dad said now that we know Reagan can handle a weekend away, she can just go with Ruthie when Ruthie spends the weekend at their house. Does this mean Brendan and I may have more "date weekends"?! Yippee!!!!
Amen for date nights! We only get one night but I'll take it, better than date hour :) They are so cute, I miss you, ya cute little Radtkes!
