I have been doing a lot of chillin' and a lot of relaxin' this weekend. I feel so refreshed!!
Reagan has discovered cheese puffs and hot dogs this weekend at Memaw & Bop Bop's. It is inevitable that taking the kids to the Grandparent's house means their semi-healthy, balanced diets take a nose dive. It's okay though, it's part of the fun!
Just chillaxin' on the kitchen floor eating her Kix that fell out of the snack trap.
Ruthie and Haley have been playing doctor and giving back rubs.
Say cheese!
My dad used to have me walk on his back when I was younger and I never understood why. Now, I do. With an aging back that is tight and hurts frequently, it does feel good to have Ruthie walk on it and push the kinks out.
I don't have any cute pictures from today b/c I stayed at home and rested or did school work while my mom took the girls bowling and swimming!! Oh yes, she is brave.
I do have to share my recent favorite find from this weekend though...Pop Chips.
If you like potato chips but not the calories and fat, you MUST try these. Here's what the company says:
We don't fry it (unhealthy). We don't bake it (undelicious). We take wholesome potatoes, add a little heat and pressure, and pop! It's a chip. The only thing added is a flavorful blend of seasonings for a snack so delicious and crispy, you won't even notice it's (we hesitate to say) healthier.
What's out? More than half the fat of fried potato chips, trans fats, and cholesterol. All gone. For good. What's popped in? Only what's natural, tons of delicious, and plenty of crunch. They taste soooo good! I went back to the store today and bought three more bags. I haven't seen these up in Columbus yet so I wanted to have a stockpile just in case. :)
