I'm a little behind in getting this post up because Blogger has been down. I couldn't access my blog until later today. Yesterday we went to a place called The Sandbox Children's Museum. It is a cute little building full of every fun thing you could think of for kids. On Thursdays they have storytime and a craft for the kids to do.
The book was about dinosaurs so Ruthie drew a dinosaur on her paper plate. I love little kid drawings. Fat arms, skinny legs, long toes.
Reagan was trying to use scissors which scared me to death!
Having her use the glue wasn't a good idea either. She squeezed it all over the place.
Ruthie and her finished product!!
After storytime we went exploring.
The girls
had so
much fun.
It was hard to get them out of there.
After lunch and naps we headed to the pool.
Ruthie met a girl and borrowed her floaty to swim along the edge of the pool. Ruthie is petrified of learning how to swim. She is content to either sit on the pool steps or hang onto the ledge. For safety reasons I want her to learn how to swim, but right now she is pretty adamant about not wanting to do it.
Brendan grilled turkey dogs for dinner.
There's nothing like eating dinner outside by the pool. We are loving vacation!!
After dinner the Marriott was hosting free Smores.
I won't tell you how many I let Ruthie eat. What happens on vacation stays on vacation!! haha
Today was our last day here in Hilton Head. I'm going to try and post that sometime this weekend. We are heading home tomorrow after a wonderful, fun week. Reagan may not remember this vacation, but I know Ruthie will.
