Yesterday was Ruthie's dance recital. She has been dancing at Leap of Faith for 3 years now. My parents drove up from Fairfield to support Ruthie. We met them at California Pizza for lunch.

Daddy took Ruthie to the gymnasium to meet up with her class and get dressed. I loved their costumes this year!
As we waited for the show to start,
we let Reagan play on the side of the stage. I wasn't too sure how long Reagan would last during the recital. She did great until the end. It's a lot to ask a 2 year old to be engaged in something for over 2 hours!
Reagan preferred the hip hop music as opposed to the lyrical music. After a fast song and dance she would say, "That's a good dance!"

We had to snap a quick pic with Bop Bop and Memaw before they headed home.
Ruthie's special gift from them was....heeled shoes!!! Not dress up shoes, but real shoes with a heel. Ruthie said, "I have wanted these my whole life!!!" She almost cried with tears of joy when she opened up their gift.
Mommy and Daddy gave Ruthie tulips after her performance. These almost brought Ruthie to tears as well.
